How to search for books

Search for books by entering the ISBN (International Standard Book Number – a 10 or 13 digit number normally found on the back of a book above the barcode), author, title, keyword, or by browsing the subject. Make sure to always verify the author, title, edition and ISBN of the book you find to ensure it is the correct version.

About Multiple Book Listings

Your book search results may contain multiple listings of your title from one or more booksellers. Since return policies, shipping locations, and other details may vary among booksellers, it is in your best interest to familiarize yourself with a bookseller's policies prior to placing an order. Please note that booksellers set their own return policies and have the right to assess restocking fees for returned items.

Placing an order

1. Once you’ve found your book, click the "Add to Cart" button.
2. Enter your shipping destination zip code to calculate shipping charges
3. Select your shipping method (Please note that USPS Media Mail, although economically priced, can sometimes be unpredictable due to a host of factors uncontrollable by Bookstores.com. If you need a timely delivery of your book, you should consider upgrading to a more reliable service method.)
4. You may continue shopping for more books or proceed to checkout.
5. Review our Warranty & Returns information. Select "I agree" and click "continue" to proceed.
6. Enter your payment information and click "Submit Order".

• USPS Priority Mail - Takes 3 Days
• FedEx Ground - Takes 1-5 Days
• FedEx 3-Day Saver - Takes 3 Days
• FedEx 2-Day Saver - Takes 2 Days
• FedEx Standard Overnight - Takes 1 Day (Delivery by 4:30PM Monday-Friday only)
• FedEx Priority Overnight - Takes 1 Day (Delivery by 10:30AM Monday-Friday only)

Orders may take up to 2-3 business days to process.
Rush orders and "overnight service" orders must be received prior to 2PM EST for expedited handling. Estimated delivery times do not count the day of pickup (which is standard for all carriers).

Order Tracking / Order Changes / Cancellations

You must contact the bookseller that shipped your book for tracking information, order changes, or cancellations. Bookseller contact information can be found on the order confirmation email from Bookstores.com and by following these instructions:

1. Go to the Order Status Page of your Bookstores.com user account (Login is required).
2. Click on the appropriate order ID.
3. Click on the Contact Seller link beneath the appropriate title.

Please do not contact Bookstores.com for tracking information, order changes, or cancellations. Since Boosktores.com does not ship books, shipment information must be obtained directly from the bookseller.

If you have tried to contact a bookseller and are having problems receiving a response, please use our web contact form to request help communicating with your bookseller. When using the web contact form, please include your order number, bookseller name, and book information (including ISBN).

Tips to ensure your order arrives quickly and correctly.

• Double check all shipping information. Orders are processed very quickly, so you may not notice mistakes until it is too late. Make sure all shipping information is entered correctly BEFORE you submit your order.
• Carefully read the Item Page to verify you are getting the correct edition with all the components you may need for your class. Used textbooks may not come with CD-ROMs or Online Access Codes. Please read the item description to see if any such items are missing
• When in doubt, submit a question to your the bookseller prior to placing an order.
