Return Policy
Bookstores.com does not sell books directly. Bookstores.com is a Marketplace that
provides buyers with great savings through our network of booksellers. Therefore,
all requests to return items and customer service questions must be directed to
the bookseller that sold the book and not to Bookstores.com.
To contact a bookseller:
- Go to the Order Status
page of your Bookstores.com user account (Login is required).
- Click on the appropriate order ID.
- Click on the Contact Seller link beneathe the appropriate title.
Please DO NOT return items to Bookstore.com's address. Items shipped to Bookstores.com
will not be returned to you and payment will not be refunded. You must contact the
bookseller directly for a refund.
To find a bookseller’s return policy prior to making a purchase click on the bookseller’s
name in the search results. The bookseller’s return policy is listed under “Customer
Service Info”.
To find a bookseller’s return policy after a purchase is made go to the
Order Status page (Login is required), click on your order number, and then
click on the bookseller’s name, which is located beneath the book description. The
bookseller’s return policy is listed under “Customer Service Info”. Please DO NOT
return items to Bookstore.com’s address. Items shipped to Bookstores.com will not
be returned to you. You must contact the bookseller directly.
We know that having the correct book is essential, so Bookstores.com does everything
possible to help you get exactly what you need. Our booksellers are carefully monitored
for their customer service and all questions about your order should be directed
to the bookseller. However, if you are having trouble communicating with a bookseller
please contact Bookstores.com using our contact form
for help.
Please note that all returns must be received in the condition they were sold or
the refund amount will be adjusted. Therefore, we strongly suggest you review our
Packaging Guidelines
to ensure the safe delivery of your textbooks. All software and other supplementary
materials must be returned unopened. Software that is received opened will not be
accepted and will be returned to sender at the sender's expense.
Shipping, handling, and restocking fees for all returns are borne by the buyer except
in cases of defect or inaccurate fulfillment.
